I pretty much hated this location. First of all, it’s a very weird layout. Half their facilities are on one side of the street and half on the other. We wanted to use their diesel lanes and, of course, we turned into the wrong side. After we then navigated across the street and found the diesel lane entrance, it was mass pandemonium as truckers aggressively maneuvered into line from each side of the fueling bays. I do not recall seeing clear signage indicating where we should go. It’s totally possible that I just missed the signs and that we arrived at an unusually busy part of the day, but I didn’t enjoy my time here and will avoid this station in the future if I can.

This place was a real diamond in the rough! Huge, modern, and new. They have dedicated lanes for large vehicles and the pumps there were super nice. They had gigantic screens—literally like 24″ tall—with a completely touch interface. (I imagine all the pumps were like this, but I only used the large vehicle lanes.) Super nice inside too. Food, coffee, nice bathrooms, etc. We passed this place during our first trek through Wyoming and wasn’t expecting such a convenient, wide open place to fuel up. Highly recommended! I wish I had taken a few pictures, but you can always look them up on Google Maps and Google Street to validate my report. 🙂

We’ve used this station many times over the past few years. While it may not be the nicest truck stop we’ve ever encountered, it’s convenient to get to, has a very large parking lot, and has a Starbucks on site—which we really enjoy! Our typical routine is to fuel up, park, then enjoy some food and coffee. I don’t think we’ve ever had to wait in line for the diesel lanes, which is very nice. It just doesn’t get all that crowded here. That said, the pumps are pretty dirty and a bit rundown. I can think of two occasions when I had problem with a pump not working, forcing me to move into another lane. The lot surface here is the worst part of the place. It’s in massive disrepair. You have carefully navigate around huge, deep potholes. Semi trucks might be unfazed, but our Airstream and Ram 2500 wouldn’t fare as well. There is a very large parking lot, but be careful because many of the trucker spots can be used by reservation only.

We have been here many times and it continues to be one of our most favorite places to stop, fuel up, get some food, and take a break from driving. It’s rarely crowded and we have never had to wait in line at the diesel lanes. (Can’t comment on the normal fueling islands. Never used them.) There is an enormous parking lot on the property with plenty of room for RVs of all sizes. We’ve rarely seen more than 6 or 8 rigs there at the same time, including truckers. They serve all sorts of hot foot inside and always have a well-stocked supply of snacks, drinks, and beer.
