We were just here for an overnighter, so we didn’t get much chance to really soak in the park’s amenities, but here are the impressions we got while there. Pros: The facilities are quite nice and well cared for. The bathrooms were spotless. The showers had benches and hooks to place your things. They had a really, really nice pavilion with lots of tables downstairs and a game room upstairs with everything from giant Connect 4 to vintage video games. Staff was friendly. Check in was painless. Cons: Sites are very cramped. Our picnic table was right next to our neighbor’s sewer inlet and there weren’t really any better options for where to put it. The park is situated right next to many industrial businesses, so walking around wasn’t exactly “scenic”. For $65 a night, we probably wouldn’t stay here again only because of the small lots and dreary surroundings. If those things don’t matter as much to you, then it’s a great place!
